Ar-Rauf
Ar-Rauf is one of the 99 names of God in the religion of Islam.
Allah calls Himself Ar-Rauf—The Kind, The Compassionate. He is the One who bestows mercy with the utmost tenderness. Ar-Ra’uf has beautiful pity on us, with which He gently warns us, withholds from us, and instructs us to all that is good! Ra’uf comes from the root raa-hamza-faa, which points to three main meanings. The first main meaning is to be gentle, kind, and forgiving and the second is to be merciful and compassionate. The third main meaning is to show pity and tenderness.
It serves as a reminder to live by this name by being kind to others and handling people's feelings with tenderness and compassion.
